My friend recently got me into emulators...but I'm not all that familiar with the sega saturn emulators...

Could someone please explain to me how the saturn emulator plays "commercial games" ? Can I actually play my official game cds in my cd/dvd drive?

Sorry, I only know how to work a few NES emulators..and those are a tad different...

thanks :)

You should be able to play your CD's yes. Though if you find performance is an issue, you may also want to make a disc image and use it from your hard drive via daemon-tools.

Saturn emulators also require the correct BIOS for different regions, but we can't tell you where to get those.

Your best bet is SSF. It is the best emulator and update recently to version 11. today. :)

how do you use ssf? do you have to have it as a cd or can you run the img? do i have to burn the img to play in ssf or is there a way to load the image directly?

Both. As you can mount the IMG file with Daemon-Tools and run it. :)
