i am trying to get resident evil 2 to work on the p64 but the sound is really lame.
i can hear the music and the background sounds like shots firing and zombies moaning and doors opening but there are no voices at all. pretty lame.
anyone played this game or know a good audio plugin that works? theres are also no opening movie voices and it doesnt even show the cinimatic movies!!?!??!?? WTF! i need some help. i need some good graphic and audio plugin suggestions that will work well with RE2.
thanks

Yes, this game is supported in project64 1.6 with the plugin is: Rice's Video Plugin 6.1.1 Beta 10

Yeah it runs quite well, since I remember.

What I mean with "not supported" is that it's not yet playable like other N64 titles, because of it's extensive and media-rich content.

hmmm.....went and tried the rice plugin but it doesnt work. perhaps it is corrupted or something. i put it in the plugin folder and then try to start the P64 prog but it says that the bmglib.dll file isnt found and the rice plugin cant start. if i remove the rice plugin it goes back to normal and the bmglib file is found again. very weird

thank you for the link. :) i went and got the rice plugin and i think its working but theres still no voices or cinematic cut scenes at all. i think i need a better sound plugin or something.
i have disc two of the set for ps1 but i can find disc 1 anywhere.
i will try to look somemore. maybe the rom itself is crap.

No, the rom itself is not crap unless you have a bad dump. What plugin do you use ? :)

Read Project64 game FAQ. You'll see those features are not emulated... yet.
