VBA & Pokemon Ruby

So... I enabled the real time clock but the in game clock still doesn't seem to work. Any help?

The real time clock is NOT emulated!!!!

the real time clock IS emulated in visual boy advance 7 and after. after you turn it on from options > emulator > real time clock you need to start a brand new game, for it to work. it makes sod all difference in pokemon ruby though cos there is no night and day as in gold/silver/crystal. the only thing you need the real time clock in ruby for is for the berries to grow after you plant them.

Well that's stupid... I've been waiting this whole time for it to switch to night.... I think I'm gonna go back to playing Gold. Thanks much for the input.
