Goldeneye troubleshooting

If you need help with your emulation on Goldeneye, Maybe you came to the right place ;)
It makes it easier to give tips on troubleshooting if you tell your system specs and as accurately and clearly as you can what the problem is.

My character keeps on running into the back left hand corner when i start the game and just looks at the ground. Im using a xbox 360 wireless controller, works fine for ocarina of time but for some reason it doesnt work properly in game. the menu for loading profiles is just fine as well. I am using nrage's plugin and am using 1964 because project 64 doesnt work with my controller. tried fiddling with deadzones and ranges but to no avail

help plz i really want to play this amazing game again!
