Not really emulation targeted, but just wondered if any one here has a solution for the 8800 nvidia card drivers..

Ok, I dont know if this is a anti-piracy thing or just the fact I cant find the option.

I want the video to be displayed on my video out when full screened. I use to select the monitor I wanted when fulls creening on every driver before this. Is this possible or do I need to download some hacked driver? Or better yet anyone out there know how to force the 8800's to use the old drivers?

Now my question is, what are you trying to full screen? Movies or full screen games?

Well ya games. Movies use the over lay fearer that part I get, its the full screen out put option that the old nvidia driver use to have that I can use any longer.

Are you using the Clone Display option ? That's the only way I've ever gotten full screen output when hooking a TV up to my card.

Also.. This has been moved to the proper forum.

thx for moving me. :p

Yes I'm using clone.

here is the old method..
Old Menu (http://spawnlinux.dyndns.org/tmp/img1.JPG)
You see the device, this is an option and only an option when in clone mode.

and here is the new....
New Menu (http://spawnlinux.dyndns.org/tmp/im2.JPG)
um, thing, I guess you could call this a display settings tab. I personally refer to it as a gui nightmare. It has on the order of 30% the option as the old drivers, and its all a mess. I have the advanced menu enabled but that does not help.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the new menu system either.
I'm not sure what else to say really. Also I changed your images to hyperlinks.. They are WAY too big for a thread, even on broadband. In the future please post GIF or JPG images, not BMP.

By the way, if you're using XP you should be able to get the classic bit to display.

Make sure you are in advanced mode, then you SHOULD be able to select the View drop-down menu, and there is an option for the classic NVIDIA display

Ah, may bad on the images. (fixed)

I dont think the 8800 do that. All of the old cards did, but they are forcing thing new stlye now and I'm paying the price.. the 300$ price..

Actually I see what you speak of, but still no option there. Tnx for your help though. You where more help the nvidia.

Click on the TV and see if the menu changes. Similar to the Catalyst driver for ATI cards:

unfortunately its nothing like the Catalyst. There gui-drivers are not bad.
