Question why is the emulator like totally slow?
Is it something that I'm doing wrong and is there anyway I can speed it up?

No, it is still in development. Nothing is wrong with yours. :)

The only thing you can do is wait.

Download No$gba2.4 and three files Biosnds7.rom Biosnds9.rom(not necessary but it's better to have it) and firmware.bin plus these the EndryptS Advanced.exe and place these files in the same directory. Also place in the same directory the rom files. Open EndryptS Advanced and choose option 1 from your keyboard , it will encrypt the rom files you have and when you will load a nds rom in No$gba2.4 it will run.
I tried these roms
Castlevania: Dawn of sorrow (stopes at name screen)
Castlevania: Portrait of ruin (couldn't be saved)
Kirby Kanvas Curse (worked perfectly )
Emulator was working all time with full speed

Actually, you do not need to use encrypted at all. Just disabled gbabios and it will run. Read the changelog because it said it will run the decrypted now for 2.4a :)
