Help getting started

I just downloaded visualboy advance and i want to start playing games, so i downloaded some save files but i go to use them and it says it does not support .sav files. and i know im new at this so please dont be rude. and can also someone tell me if there is a link to a place i can download games to play from the very start just like a normal gameboy?? thank you

You can't request games, since ROM requests are not allowed here.

Click File>Import>Battery Save (or something)
