If it uses a direct input type driver it should be ok. If you are using Mame32, then click 'options', 'default game options' and enable joystick in the 'controllers' tab. You can also enable it as the default analogue device in the controller mapping tab.
If its not compatible, then download Joy2Key (http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey%20English%20Version.htm) then you simply assign the joystick controls to keyboard keys, then define those keys in the emulator (for Mame, launch a game and press TAB, then select 'input general').
Hope that helps.

Please so not doublepost. Asking your question once should be enough.

Mame32, then click 'options', 'default game options' and enable joystick in the 'controllers' tab. :) Also make sure your saitek drivers are updated.

Is it the Saitek P2500 RUMBLE
It works with M.A.M.E
Does it work with any other Emulator like ZSNES or FCE Ultra ?
