i need an emulator for gba that can run on my comp smoothly (400mhz)
VBA i tried but it definately is not wat i call smooth
boycott advance i tried and it went smoothly BUT wenever i go into a pokemon center(pokemon ruby) the game always freezes.

anyone know wat i could do to get games running well?

thats a known issue with boycott advance and pokemon. vba should work though what version are you using and what video card are you using

im using the latest one from emulator zone and for my video card, it still has the one its got when i bought it (so about 8)

with that kind of setup you will prob wont be able to run vba smoothly with a high resolution. what resolution do you run it in.

would a different version of VBA help?
and i dont know if this is resolution i run it on full screen 800 x 600

try running 640x480

Also, turn off any special filters etc that are not necesarry to play, and setting sound to low quality if possible and you don't mind it.

Should speed up a bit.
