I have been playing Pokemon Blue for the Gameboy emulator (BGB) and I am trying to use the link cable option over the internet. I just can't figure out how it works. I have a friend who is using the exact same emulator and exact same rom (because i sent it to him). How EXACTLY do you link up?

visualboyadvance is your best bet because no$gba link is only for gba and future of NDS and not gameboy games. :)

visualboyadvance played gameboy, gameboy color, and game boy advance.

Look around carefully before you ask the question. :)
