hey....what plugins should i use to play IX??

if you wanna go for safeties go with Peops [if you really prefer performance over looks]

other than that, if you have a GL card go for Petes OpenGL [plus the Fixes]
Lewpy's Glide Plugin if you have a 3dfx Card (voodoo chipsets)

thx.....i used p.e.o.p's and it works! actually im in the middle of the intro so hopefully everything else works:) ;) :D

ok the only major problem is the game experiences big slowdowns during battle
should i use any fixes?

well, are you playing the game from an ISO or from the CD itself? naturally, the CD will cause lagg, I highly Advise you Rip the Disk first to an iso and play it on the PC, you'll get faster load times and sound will be less choppy.

you may also wanna check the forums 'search' for configs and TIPS for configurations for FF9 [ I remember seeing quite a number for ff9]
