I assume you're using mame32, click on All Games, then find your game, the one it's indented from is the parent.

nevermind, i found the parent, but now im STILL unable to play, as im missing dd2.1-20.
the game im trying to play is D&D SOM, both US versions require that file

What site did you get the file from? And try a different version of mame like 102. I just tested D&D SOM works fine.

Don't ask where you got files from, it is against the rules.

In your other thread on the subject the missing files that Mame is flagging up are all present in the parent rom (ddsom) so it could be that you still haven't acquired the correct parent.
Could you advise the zip file names you have?. If you don't have ddsom.zip then you haven't got the parent rom.
In fact I've checked and the only files not being reported as missing are the ones present in various clones so its a fair certainty that the parent is still missing or you haven't run an audit since installing it.
Go to the toolbar at the top of the Mame32 window, click 'file' then select 'audit all'. If you have the correct parent the game should then work.
