Need help with DeSmuME (ds emulator)

I tried playing Megaman ZX with DeSmuME, but it's very slow. I tried increasing the frame skip, it doesn't work.

I tried using the other emulators, but two won't work and one has no sound and is missing some of the layers.

Help?

DeSmuME does not support sound yet, as for your question, the the emu you are using probably has some troubles for that game. Theres nothing you can do yet but wait till they improve the ds emus. There arent that many games completely compatible with DeSmuME.

try 6.0 version and set frame skipping to 0..so dont used the increase frame skip, ok ? :)

Tried it just now. Still very slow except at startup.

Tried other games too. All the same.

Also:
Is the number on top the frames per second, because it gets lower as the frames get slower.
