Visual Boy Advance Link 1.8.0 Beta 0

Hello. Has anybody gotten Golden Sun 2 to play at full speed during versus mode with two VBAs running?

Every other versus GBA game plays at full speed (that I've tested so far). Golden Sun 2 will begin to stutter and slow down as soon as both GBAs are connected before and during battle.

It slows down even more during special attacks (Meddigo etc.).

The problem is obviously the emulator because I've tried all the video filters, all frame skip levels, and the throttles.

My PC specs are:

Windows Vista Ultimate
ATI Radeon X1300 Series
Intel Pentium D 3.40 GHz + 3.42 GHz
Sound Blaster Audigy

Does anyone know of any other GBA emus that could play Golden Sun 2 at full speed during link battles?

I tried $GBA a while back but ditched it as it gave me more problems rather than solved them.

Unfortunately it is. It's hard to keep track of two running emulators.

What do you mean it will not load any verion of golden sun 2 ? This emulator of no$gba should run this game flawlessly.

I've tried 0940 - Golden Sun - The Lost Age (U) and about 15 other versions (hacks, E, J) and they all make the emulator crash! WTF is it with Golden Sun 2? ; ;

Problem fixed. Switched to XP Pro SP2 64-Bit & set frame skips to 1 on both emus. Flawless gameplay on both sides. No skips or stuttering with VBA Link.
