I'm new to emulating. I've figured out how to get emus and ROMs to work on my computer, and now I'd like to know how to get games to work on my DS Lite and PS2.

I know that for NDS I need a flash card and a Passme or something, and I was thinking about getting this (http://www.modchipstore.com/R4-R4DS-DS-Simply-Slot-1-solution-homebrew-backups-microsd-16425.html), but I don't really know what all this stuff is or how to make it work. How steep is the learning curve? What are the system requirements? Is everything that I'll need included? Can I play GBA ROMs with this? Will it even work??

As for PS2 - I'm completely in the dark. I have no idea how to install a mod chip, or if it's even a good idea for me to try, because I'm not too great with electronics.

Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Looking at it it would appear you will need an additional card like an M3 for the GBA slot to run GBA stuff.

You could try the G6 (http://www.model-gadget.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=701&osCsid=8c80e0f5b2bdaa8f6ed28bf071b3b9e4) . Its a 4Gb card, includes the Passcard 3 and works with NDS and GBA stuff, also includes MP3, movie player support etc. The M3 is also a good solution.

As for emulation on the PS2, considering the hassle involved, you would be better off just getting a PS2 pad adapter for the PC.

Okay, thanks. Kind of a stupid question here, but... how do I get the ROMs from my computer to the card? And will I be able to play online with these games?

The instructions for this will be with the card.

And will I be able to play online with these games?

I don't think so. AFAIK emulators for NDS/PS2 don't support online play.

Anybody...?

Please be patient. This is a forum, not IRC.

I can't speak for the other cards but the G6 comes with a USB drive. You plug the card into the drive, plug the drive into your USB slot, use the bundled software to put your software onto it (very simple, just browse to the rom you want and double click it), then once you have put all the games you want onto the card you simply plug it into your DS, it comes up with a menu with screenshots of the games you installed and you simply hit the one you want to load with the stylus (or you can use the D-Pad and buttons).
