this just happened to me and i don't know why:
most of the text on the screen is now garbled
happened right at the point where cloud rides the bike and you go to a short cutscene showing him on it. i have a legal version of the game but my disk 1 is so f*cked up i cant make an iso of it so i got a savestate where its just at the beginning of disk one, someone switched it to disk 2 and made a savestate. this causes all of the movies to be wrong but at least it worked.
if someone could tell me how to fix this that would be great, if not could you make a savestate using disk 2 or 3 at the earliest point possible after the opening movie.
