need help... total noob here

im a total noob in this emulator stuff... i want to play kof2002 on kawaks, i do have neogeo.zip and kof2002.zip but it wont let me play the game and it wont show up that i have it... i put neogeo.zip in all of the rom folders same with kof2002.zip please help

If you have neoragex rom kawaks doesn't rocognize it. Kawaks copatible with mame roms. If the files in your rom are rom files the rom is neoragex rom, mame roms contain bin files. Also your neogeo bios file may have wrong size or there is missing file. Try to find different bios file. And this guide helps you to configure kawaks:
