Greetings,

Can you propose a tool to restore erased files? I've lost some on NTFS drive, they are important so what tool is really powerful to give maximum chances of recovery?

I have used this one (http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm) to recover pictures from a SD card. It worked good enough for me.

I've used GetDataBack in the past to recover entire partitions intact if necessary, but it's commercial so be prepared to shell out some cash.

You can also try Active@ Undelete. The tool is very powerful and can be launched from a bootable disk in case OS is corrupted

Thank you very much for your recomendations. I've tried active undelete and that tool worked. It managed to recover data in spite of the fact I erased files quite a time ago.
