I'm new to emulating with the PSX and I'd really love to get into it. I just recently learned that I can do this 100% legally (since I own a PS2 and games) and this makes me very happy. However, I have no clue as how to go about doing so.

What I'm primarily wondering is, well, how do I do it? What do I need, besides the emulator. And once I have it, what do I do? Just pop the CD in? I know I'm being incredibly vague, but that's mostly because I'm not really sure what to ask.

Thanks to *anyone* who can answer me. Can't wait to hear from you.

Well, don't be happy about it, because you need a PlayStation BIOS and you have a PlayStation 2. Also, downloading the BIOS is illegal, so no 100% for you :)

Well, at least you have the games. For a step-by-step PlayStation emulator setup, click here (http://forums.emulator-zone.com/showthread.php?t=1140). You can still find the BIOS on the net, but being this file illegal to share/download/etc, we won't tell you where to get it. It's up to you.

Oh, I almost forgot: Yes, you can use your PlayStation CDs with emulators. If you want faster loading times, make a backup of your PlayStation CD with Alcohol 120% or some other CD apps.

Thanks so much, Butters! Very helpful indeed. I'll try that now.
