I downloaded a snes emulator,(i can't remember the exact name) i got three roms for it, 1 loaded correctly, 1 loaded but the game ran extremely slow and the third wouldn't load at all.
Is this likely to be an issue with the emulator or the ROMS? Do you actually get bad ROMS?

I am running firmware 3.03. oe-c , i don't have devhook installed

Also could you recommend what are the best emulators for PSP for running

SNES
Sega Megadrive
Sega Mastersystem
NES,
PSX
N64

Thanks,
i think this thread should be ok, but if there is anything that the admins aren't happy with then please delete as appropriate.

hello cav

i am new in this forum but i own my Psp now a longer time ago and made lots of emulator stuff with it.

its a the best system for emulating imo

but now to your question.

The best emulator is NESTER J simply because the games run very fast and there is no need to overclock (infact you can make by some games the MHZ lower) so your battary life will be saved very much. there tons of other Emus but nester runs really smoothy.

a good Megadrive emulator is Genesis or DGEN i suggest DGEN very easy to use and with much features

N64 emu...you should wait a bit untill Deadalus R9 is out with the older versions its simply to laggy. But dont expect you can play goldeneye on PSP i think thats not possible with the PSP hardware. but Mario should work well with R9.

The best SNES emu i think you have its SNES 0x9 (i dont know right now the rest but i think you have them) be sure its the latest version.

PS1 i have a EMu but no Isos so I cant say something but they should run really good (not tested personnely).

but a really good emulator is NEOCD what emulatoes the NEOGEO CD (not the right name again but i thinkyou can find it for yourself what i mean) its sometimes a bit laggy but theres nothing better then Metal slug 1-2 on a portable system.

i hope my answers helped you
