DeSmuME 0.6.0 Released!

A new version of the NintendoDS emulator DeSmuME is now available. Here is what is new in this release:
general:
- Added zipped (based on zziplib) and gzipped (based on zlib) rom support.
arm:
- Added relocation interrupt vector.
- Added region access right checks.
- Enabled LDC/STC instructions.
- Fixed powersave (cp15) IRQ wait.
- Fixed MOV instructions
gpu:
- Added special color effects.
- Added windowing feature.
- Fixed transparent direct color backgrounds.
- Fixed disabled sprites showing.
- Fixed 8/32 bit access to gpu registers.
- Fixed missing backgrounds
- Support for master brightness
wifi:
- Added RF chip interface.
- Added BB chip interface.
windows port:
- Fixed address calculation in disassembler.
- Added Force Maintain Ratio option for window stretching
linux port (cli, gtk and gtk-glade):
all:
- Added joystick support.
- Fixed X and Y buttons.
gtk-glade:
- Added joystick configuration.
- Improved I/O registers viewer tool.

I've tried it already and I can say it has been improved in graphics compatiblity, but now it's slower than the previous version.

Very excited to see this emulator coming a long nicely.

Would like to see some kind of rotation option to play brain games.

Nope. However, desmume can run Megaman ZX and No$gba doesnt but no$gba can run megaman battle network 5 ds and desmume doesn't. No$gba have the higher compabilities than desmume. I used both for the different purposes. :)

Hi everybody, I've downloaded no$gba, but I dunno why it doesn't work... : "The rom-image has crashed"... And in Naruto 4, when I push a, I go to the main menu, then return back to beggining of the game...

There is no perfect Nds rom yet.....probably this time next year we can get one that can play 95% of all NDS roms with acceptable speed and no crashes....

for now, we need more patience.

I think desmume 0.6 can now emulate most games......provided that your pc is quick enough. Dont sit there with a Pentium 2 533Mhz and moan about emulator too slow.....get a better pc

People, had anyone try this emulator yet? As I got an error everytime I click on it. :confused:
