about gameshark....

Well, i am tired of trying to get several pokemons in emerald while using my emulator here visual boy advance. i was trying to c how to cheat on this game but its all very confusing. i havent found a good web page, guide or whatever that explains how to cheat i only find the codes but no explanation on how to use them...so i wanted to know if somebody knows in detail how to use them....or of a walktrhough of gamesharks or guides whatever thats explains to me anything. thnx

well, i forgot to say i was playing pokemon emerald and i was wondeering about gamesharks. i was reading the code cheats list and i managed to do some of them but i dont know how to do the cheat to make appear a pokemon in my pc and how to make a tm or hm appear neither. please help in this one. the code cheats say i have to put like this:

Item Modifier in PokeMart:

Slot 1: 820052F4 0???
Slot 2: 820052FC 0???
Slot 3: 82005304 0???
Slot 4: 8200530C 0???
Slot 5: 82005314 0???

i suppose those questikn marks are there for u to put the tm right? but the thing is where do i have tp put those codes? ingameshark, codebreak, code? and once i put them, where will it appear!!

to input gameshark codes, simply go to cheats, then click cheat list, then click add gameshark. the site will usually tell you what the codes are for each item. the slot 1, slot 2 etc. are the slots in the pokemarts of each town, e.g. in the first towns pokemart you can buy pokeballs from the first slot, you copy and paste the 820052F4 0??? and replace the ??? with the code of the desired item. once done so you can go into the pokemart and buy the item that you coded in, either for the price of a pokeball or the actual price of the item. i dont know about any codes for getting pokemon into your box though
