- nds/xboo: added upload-wait/timeout (for remote secure_area_extra_decryption)
- nds/dma: prevents gba-style dma3-capture on nds (fixes submarine demo freeze)
- nds/dma: simplified different dma mode bits by dma_kick_mask at mount_system
- nds/3d/help: added 3d-lockup note (on swapbuffers with incomplete vertex list)
- a22i: supports "NOT" operator (more or less, crashes on faulty priority order)
- a22i/bugfix: long/negative multiply in numeric expression (swapped lsw2/msw2)
- nds/3d: handles 8bit ldrb reads from 3d ports (4000320h and up)

Yes, they need the bios and firmware. There is no "STILL". It must have them to do that.

It indeed works.. it just takes a while before you get the push start message to appear. the 2d part in the beginning, name selection etc works flawlessly and very smooth. but once you actually play it it becomes very slow because of all the 3d.

Not me.
If you set in Emulation Setup the speed from 16.xx MHz true speed to Unlimited MHz Disaster 10%, it will at least be somewhat playable. Hope that helps. (credit goes to AMPonzi)

You should know not all DS games are playable through emulators that we have know. You should wait for an updated version. Plus, you'd never mention what games you intend to play.
Note :
Just read that you mentioned Kirby. Wait for RockmanRotties's post whether he manage to get it run or not. :)

http://i9.tinypic.com/4gpjmm9.jpg
After you set it up, click ok then go to OPTIONS and click Save Options then go to File and click RESET CARTRIDGE then you will have nds menu. No more to help you. This instruction in photo is very easy to read. ;) Have fun!

Thanks for the great information in this thread! But I have a lot of problems altough...
My files with the games looks like looks like this:
http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/6131/bild1fx6.jpg
And this is how great my games works with the emulator:
Phoenix Wright
http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/4092/bild2mx2.jpg
Castlevania
http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/418/bild3zo9.jpg
Mario Kart
http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/1094/bild4mo1.jpg
If anyone can see something wrong please let me know. The one who helps me so it works will get a great-tasting lobster by post. ;)
*edit*
Now PW works, it was the options in the emultator that was the problem. But most of the games crashes anyway.

February 16th, 2007, 17:56
What I can do for you is:
Open no$gba>File>find your nds game>options>any savefiles>click ok>click File>reset cartridge and you should be ok.
EDIT: Dont run castlevania por and other castlevania because they cannot run yet.
