ps2, xbox, cube, and next gen emu's idea

I am not a rogrammer by any strech of the imagination but i do have some suggestions that might solve the slow emulation of the newer systems.

would i be possible to make them exit windows and run their own OS even if it ran off a boot disc. as this would eliminate conflicts with running i Windows and maybe work alot better!

I believe this could solve many of the emulation problems! I don't know if it should be one OS for all emulators or just have each emulator run its own OS!

Bad idea. This has been suggested before. What I can think of is about code optimization and faster hardware.

Wouldn't this mean a complete rewrite for the emulators?
I don't think may emulator programmers will do this...
