Snes cheat help!

i just got into emulations and ive got some cheats for a game but i dont know if there not working because they dont work or if im entering them in the wrong way...some one please help me?

well I assume you mean game genie cheats, to get these go to www.gamegenie.com

also what emulaor are you using?

I like Zsnes and snes9x bot are good

Zsnes:
(look up cheat)
-load game
-press ESC
-select add code in the cheat menu
-enter cheat (####-#### format for game genie codes)
-reset game and play with cheat

Snes9x:
(look up cheat)
-load game
-select gamegenie/proaction... in the cheat meny
-enter cheat (####-#### format for game genie codes)
-reset game and play with cheat
