Animated avatars not animated?

I got a new avatar, but it is frozen. The pink things are supposed to be running around. What's wrong?

I was able to upload an animated avatar just a few minutes ago. There must be a problem with the image you are trying to use.

It works on other sites, just not this one. In fact I don't recall seeing any animated avatars here.

Try uploading the avatar somewhere else and use the URL.

The only thing I can think of is that perhaps the image size was too big and the forum resized it to fit. That's how it broke.

Btw, I changed your avatar! As you can see it's animated :)
