How do you use the BIOS and firmware using DeSmuME 0.5? Is there anything that can be done to make games run better?

Also, is there a way to play a ROM using a real Nintendo DS?

No, you do not need them to run games better on this desmume. This desmume emulator is still in development.

Yes, you need flash cart like m3 simply ds or R4 or anything else..depend which you want slot 1 or slot 2.
