ok, so I heard about torrents and that you could download videos with these,
but...what are these. I tryed a site called torrentspy.com but I couldin't download, but why?

you need a bittorrent client such as utorrent, bitcomet, or Azuerus

The way torrents are used nowadays is illegal and therefore we don't allow such discussions here.

Theres no mention of not being allowed to discuss torrents in the forum rules, and torrents are just as illegal/legal as a VCR or a DVD Rewriter.

Nah, I'm sure he's using it for savory purposes such as downloads for Linux distros.
I'd recommend uTorrent.

Yep, uTorrent is the way to go. BitComet is also good, but it's been banned from many torrent sites.

Utorrent always messed with my PC.. I can't forget if it chewed up unnecessary bandwidth or CPU power but I ended up dumping it for Azureus.

i would get azureus if i had more ram.
but still the way i configured utorrent, it sometimes goes up to 30 megs if it's really working
