getting started!!

hey guys,
i have been using mame 4 a bit now, but really wanted to play SNK vs Capcom and the Kin of Fighter series, n thru my research i learned that is possible if i get a neo geo emulator,

so i got nebula
1st of all if there anything better than this or this is a good emualtor??

2nd of all i cant seem to run it, i got a couple roms but they dont work, i tried loading them but nothin happens,

i was thinkin maybe the files i got r not the correct files cuz the games seemed small, like the SNK vs Capsom rom i have is only about 1.63mb, is that normal,

anyways can someone help me out in gettin this thing started, i really wanna start running this thing,

You can play neo geo games with mame. You need also neogeo bios file. Put bios file your roms folder. For me mame is better then nebula but nebula is good too. 1.63 mb is too small, my rom is 41.2 mb (svcplus)

Btw we can't tell you where to get roms or bios files. We just can help how to use them. Good luck.

ite, so my problem is probably gettin the right files,
i also head that mame wont play these certain games, thats y i tried running nebula, but i have gotten SvC b4 n the file was bigger 2 but it didnt work, but maybe cuz i didnt have the bios file, anyways i will give that a shot agian with the bios rom, then i will let u no wuts up

hey ah i was just wonderin wut version mame u use, maybe mines is outdated, cuz i have mame n i did the bios thing but still no luck

I have mame 0.104. You can use later versions too, but mame 0.110 didn't recognize my neogeo roms. Also kawaks 1.56 supports KOF 94-2003, Svc Chaos, Samurai Shodown 5. It is simplier than mame. If you want to play Svc Chaos with kawaks try to find rom named svcpcb. Other Svc roms are also on list but they didn't work ( kawaks loads them but they don't work) or maybe I have wrong roms but they are ok with mame.
