View Full Version : ZSNES EMULATOR TROUBLE

Ive been using Firefox and Ive downloaded the latest DirectX and I have WInrar. Everytime I download ZNES and open it It just gives me the black box, I downloaded a Rom for it and I only hear the sound, I dont see the Blue background or the buttons. But I know it works cause of the sound, I basically get no visuals. Can someone walk me through to what EXACTLY i have to do to make everything work smoothly? Like what I have to dload or whatever because man I just wanna play some good RPGS Cause having a 56k modem sucks for online games. Please Help and Thank You.

are you sure the rom that you have is real? A lot of times, the roms could be fake or broken.

Yea, it was tales of phantasia, but regardless, even when I didnt have a ROm and opened SZNES it was just a black box, I had the emualtor a couple years ago and know that even if you dont have a ROM there should be a blue screen with the load buttons or whatever, i just want my emulator to work.

Switch to full screen by pressing Alt + F4. I know it has something to do with desktop color depth (16/32 bits).

NEvermind I got it to work, just had to delete my download 4 times, after i dloaded it the 5th time it worked. thanks though.
