I have a cd game for ps2 and I want to burn it to a dvd. I made iso and tried to burn by using Alcohol 120 % image burning wizard but it asks for an empty cd. How can I burn it?

I don't quite understand your question. Do you want to:
Burn a PS2 DVD into a blank DVD (DVD to DVD)?
Create a PS2 DVD image (DVD to HDD)?
Create a DVD from an image (HDD to DVD)?

Yes, I want to burn CD iso to an empty DVD because I heard CDs are bad for PS2 lens. Is that true?

no...
ps2s can play music cds.. if it's bad for the lenses, i doubt that feature would exist.

As a matter of fact CD's damage the PS2 lens mechanism.
But we are talking about backups (aka copied games) here...used with different modchips.Cheap modchips are not recommended.
Not to mention that a CD will always be more noisy than a DVD.

How's that? You mean with the downsampled music?
