Help with NeoRageX crashing on startup.

I used to use NeoRage about 4 years ago, No problems or anything. Tried installing it on my machine, Which save for the mainboard is identical to my first system I ran it on. As soon as I run any of the NeoRageX versions (Even after patching) it crashes with one of those annoyingly vague XP crash notification windows, Before even doing anything.

Curiously am I installing it right? If anyone can give me an idea or a step-by-step or even a directory listing of what everything should look like it'd be awesome..

..Or an alternative to running NeoGeo games.. I like KAWAKS but it doesn't support nearly as many of them..

Use Mame,Nebula or that Kawaks you speak of.

They support all NeoGeo games...you just need to download an updated version of each game (rom) you own.

What version of NeoRageX do you have? Latest being the v0.8c cracked/hacked/patched version... I think. And Kawaks v1.57 is far better than any version of NeoRageX!

I agree. Get Kawaks or Mame.

Well, Am using both. I suppose my romset is out of date then. Kawaks seems to only see a handful of em. Din't know I had to update them. If I had the hardware I'd just go through the closet n' dump em myself. Will try that and if it doesn't work I'll post back here, Thanks. <^ ^>

Didn't know that to use NeoGeo on Kawaks it had to be MAME neogeo sets and not the other kind. It all works now, And how!
