if anyone could help, that would be great...

i recently installed and have been playing games on the fce ultra, its agreat program.. but lots of games the sound is sped up too fast...

could anyone help me with my problem?

could it be the file extention...??

at the end of most games file names. it shows:

(U) [b1]
(U) [b2]
(U) [hM34]
(U) [hM34](b1)
(U) [o1]
(U) [o2]

so i ask... whitch one do i choose... and how do i stop this little sound speed problem..

thanks to anyone who has a look and can help... any input would be great..

thanks..

I pretty much gave up on FCE Ultra, having the occasional hiccup in sound to go with FCEUD, But there's a couple things you could try.. In the CONFIG menu, Go to SOUND and try increasing/decreasing the Niceness setting. You could also try the buffering and slider below it. Curiously, What soundcard do you have installed..?

Use ROMs that have a [!] only. Do not use any betas [bx].

Use ROMs that have a [!] only. Do not use any betas [bx].

[!] ROMs are verified ROMs. ROMs without the [!] can be 100% good, it's just that this is not proven.
(bx) means bad dump and (ox) means overdump. These ROMs are known to be incorrect, so should be avoided.
IMHO it's better to avoid the bad ones instead of only playing the verified ones ;)
