what ROMs work well with mame32?

I am having lots of trouble finding roms that work ell with mame32 and my Logitech precision controler. I guess I do not have the tecnical know how to set up mame32 I succesfully setup and opperate gens znes and rock nes x " kenga fusion" has given me trouble but MAME32...agggh I have never been able to use it!

That MAME32 doesn't work correctly with your controller has nothing to do with the ROMs. Does the controller work in Windows?

i figured it out games like pole position are a bit trickey to config using a d-pad controler. Hell re-congiging for every rom kinda sucks but I guess thats the "price" I have to pay
any opinions on what roms are the simplest to set up?
