Project 64 Keeps freezing

Hello everyone, I have been playing THPS2 and saving the game in save slot 1. Now when I play the game freezes at the same point everytime. About 30 seconds into the run it just stops. It has been working perfectly for like 2 weeks and now it just freezes. Does anyone know what would cause this?

My computer is more than fast enough, AMD 3100+, geforce fx 5200, 1gb ram.

Some games freeze because of core issues. Try pressing F2 to pause and unpause every time it happens.

I think these kind of problems will be solved in Project64 1.7.

Agreed, I find save states will do that a lot. I will be playing then do a save. and come back later on load and the darn thing freezes. That’s why you always save to a new location each time ;) ;) I rotate 1-9 that way the number before is your history.

Im trying to play MegaMan 64 but after i beat T.Bonne, the emulator goes to cutsceen and then freezes with a black screen. what is goin on!?
