I have a NES Four Score rebuilt to USB. With it I play NES games with a real controller. But does anyone know about the other controllers for NES that aren't quite as common? Does anyone know if it would work with an emualtor (mine is Jnes)

1. Zapper
2. Power Glove
3. NES Track Pad (or something, you know, the dance mat)
4. Laserscope

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe Nintendo built additional functionality in to those controllers, the usb chip your controller has in it was designed for the standard nes controller with out that functionality. Some of the buttons and controls on those controllers you listed may work, but not all. Plus I think what you have is a moded controller with a usb cable built in to it, right? how would you get the other controllers to work anyways? I designed a usb to nes adapter, and plan to test it with other controllers but have not yet. The reason you don’t see a nes to usb adapter on the net is because no nes extension cables exist. At least this is what I'am told.

i don't think so. if there was a market for it, someone's bound to try to profit. especially if it's as simple as a cable. personally, would you pick an nes controller over other?

I don’t think you understood me, it was not an opinion. It is simple as that. no extension cable exists the plastic fitting does not exist. I'm not saying is cant be made, i'am saying it has not been done yet. I made my adapter from my old nes.

The Four Score adapter is USB, the controller itself is original with original nes connectors.

yes but again they used a Four Score original and hard wired the usb adapter in the the cable. Same thing as the retro usb controller conversion. Yet this is a great adapter!! I wonder if the compatibilit is any good, like you asked. Thx for info.

update, I think your in luck.

looks like their adapter works with it all.. ;) The same usb chip is used in the glove and the pad. And no additional programming is needed!!

no gun though... :(
