Greetings all.
For years now i have tried to get my act together to actually finish FF 8 the honest way (no hex editing). Besides that i lost my PC copy so this time it'll be on PSX this time. No honestly. How the hell did you people get over the draw-system? I know nothing worse then spending 20 horrible turns simply selecting "draw-fira" "draw-fira" "draw-fira"... Jesus...

FF8 just doesn't go over well with obssessive-compulsive Final Fantasy completionists. The game is designed so that you shouldn't need to waste time drawing so much. A couple times every battle is more than adequate.

meh i always drew all 100 in every battle. The trick is after obtaining Siren IMMEDIATLY learn ST-ATK and then Draw 100 Sleeps from the ugly leaf monsters in the training center and junction the 100 sleeps to squalls ST-ATK assuming you put Siren with him. Once the enemy is asleep Draw from it with each character about 4 or 5 times and have squall ATK again to keep the enemy asleep and begin the process of drawing and ATKing again.

The trick is to desire a game with no challenge. :)
Naw, I used to do it, too...
