Hi all,

A few weeks ago I downloaded a NES emulator for my PC, which worked fine. since I decided to get a Snes emulator so I could play Super Mario World.

So I downloaded the Zsnes emulator. Now in the NES emulator, opening a game was a simple matter of clicking of file > open in the toolbar at the top (like on microsoft Word) but the Zsnes dosent work like this & Im at a loss as to how to actually open the games.

This probably a stupid question, but Im new to all this emulation stuff, so can anyone help?

If you are able to run ZSNES, it should be almost identical. Select "Game" from the toolbar at the top and then "Load." Find the directory where the ROM is located and double click the file.

haha an even easier way would be to just drag the icon of the game to the ZSNES like if you were tying to put it inside a folder and it will start right up.. and you wont lose you game.

It isn't identical. On the load game window there are two fields: The directory field and the files (ROM) field. Just browse on the directory field to your ROMs directory and the ROMs will appear on the files field. Just double click the file and the game will load.
