I use Verizon DSL and sometimes the internet goes off and then it comes back. Also, my phone doesn't have a dial tone. What do I do?

You call Verizon's tech support. There is nothing you can do by yourself to fix it.

Yeah, the phone company is the only one who can diagnose the problem, but by the sounds of it you probably have a loose/bad wire somewhere, causing a short circuit in the line

what speeds do you get with Verizon DSL maybe your phone is damage just take it back to Verizon also what is the name of your phone

My phone's working and I didn't touch anything, it was probably some line problem outside.
