converting gameshark saves

how do i convert a gameshark save (.sps) to a savefile (.sav) that will work on an emulator to run on windows?

so basically i want to play .sps on my computer (virtualboyadvance). and also, i am trying to play gameboy advance games. thanks

you need to get the rom of the game save you have and change the extention to .sav
