Increase Speed

Hello all.

I legally own, and have played and beaten Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX for the PS. In case any of you have ever used ZSNES (Super Nintendo Emulator) it had a very very nice feature, using the ½ button you could increase speed about 8x i belive. This button was extremely nice for power leveling - especially in the old Final Fantasy games :D
Anyone know of a PS emulator with a similar feature?

ePSXe has a speedup feature, kind of.


Remember though- PS1 requires much more hardware to emulate, so your games aren't going to go at hyper-space speeds such as SNES ones.


Anyways,

Press Delete, to bring up a small GUI at the top of the app. Press End to increment the first number, which is the frame limitation tool.

Setting this at 0 (zero) will allow your emulator to process the game at the fastest speed possible. Because graphic rendering is 3D accelerated, some parts of the game will be MUCH more faster sped up than others.
