hello again i have a AMD Sempron 3200+ 1.8 ghz what i want to know is it 3200 ghz or 1.8 ghz i do not understand what the 3200+ means

3200+ is just the model number
1.8 ghz is the the speed

REALLY DAM I JUST SOLD MY OLD ONE IT WAS A 1.8 PENTIUM I was thinking it was 3200 ghz i got fu!@ o well on some games it seams faster but it does have 512 mb is that why the games run faster

I thought it means it that AMD Sempron 3200+ 1.8 ghz runs at 1.8ghz but has the equivelant processing speed of a pentium processor running at 3.2ghz

I have a Sempron 2800+ and it's great. Combined with a good graphics card as well and you can run most games at full speed.

so it is as fast as a pentium 3.2 the only problem i have had so far is i can't make divx videos that good the video and sound are out of sync

Your codecs are probably messed up. Try VLC media player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/).

the funny thing is, if most people didn't think their AMD chips ran at frequencies of their PR, AMD would be out of business by now.
