emulators on the ps3

I have heard that sony is runnin a form of linux on the ps3. does this mean that we will be able to run emulators for snes, nes, etc. on the ps3, like we are doing on the psp?

There's a very good chance. Remember, it's going to be backwards compatible with PS1 and 2 games and is going to have a HDD.
