CPS3 emulation question - (I know its not working)

Hey,

Is the main encryption problem with the CPS3 system, is the fact that its a cd-rom based game? or does it have to do with the cps3 board? Do any of you know... The cps3 jamma board for asia doesn't use the cd-rom for Street fighter III (New Generation), but the US does.

Just wondering if any of you know...

AFAIK it has nothing to do with the CDs, but with the decryption and the suicide batteries. It seems that it's just a harder protection than the CPS2 one. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
