administrative rights can't just be taken away. do you normally use a crippled account and just forgot the password for the admin account?

An easier way would had been to make sure no default users were implemented and use admin to sign in to XP. REg editing wouldn't help at all. (Unless.. you wanted to ues it to edit your commandpromt colour.)

thank you ViperXL2 but what happiend was my pc just shut down and when it came on i lost all of my Administrative rights anyway i got it working now i just formatted
