Code Converting?

I'm searching for some cheat codes for my VBA and it seems as if all of the newest Gameshark codes are not compatable with the VBA system. The VBA still takes the old 8-digit codes and works fine but the new company which has taken over gameshark has turned the codes into 12-digit lines.

Is there any way to convert the new code lines into the old 8-digit ones? Or am i just going to wait until VBA is updated to (hopefully) accept the new code system?

I wish to try the Berry Blending Codes for Pokemon emerald (yes you can laugh :p )

the codes look like this:

and the 12-digits just aren't being accepted or don't work.
