erasing OoS file on visualboy

Why can't I erase my files? Maybe I just don't know how. Here's what I do. I click down to erase, click it and the boxes become blue and the gasha nut goes to "Quit" in the "pick a file" screen. So I go to the file I want to erase, click it and it goes back to "Quit." If I hit the start button or B button the screen goes back to the select screen then if I click the game starts playing. So what am I doing wrong? How do I erase files with the visualboy on OoS-OoA?

Please give me the blow by blow steps to erasing files.

Try this: Go to the file where you keep that game. Right-click, then press "Delete". Then, go to the Recycle Bin and empty it. Problem solved!
