Pokemon FireRed Help

Hi I am new to this forum. I am using Visual Boy Advance v1.7.2 and am playing firered. After the elite four, it is supposed to take you from where you saved ( the ingame save, not the shift +f1, ex: go to start menu and hit save) I tried that, and it does not work. Does anyone know how to do this or cansomeone link to someplace else that can help me with this??

well maybe both has a corrupted rom try another
