I am using SSF emulator. Can I play bin files or only cds?

I have the bin file and cue file. I was wondering how to play it. Can I play it without a cd or is it only cd? If I can play the bin file, how do I do that? I cant figure out where to add or open it.

You don't burn them, you mount them.

I mounted an ISO for my SSF, but it refuses to play it, saying it's not a Game CD, and worse, the emulator is in Japanese and I dunno what it's saying!
