I know it can not play videos but is there a hack that will let me play ASF files on it i got over 400 music videos that are ASF

it would be cool if winamp had a IPOd NAMO player

the nano will most likely never support video. battery life and cpu performances are probably the main reasons

It's ok it says that the battery life is 14 hours but it only last 4 hours does mp3 use more power than other formatts on the player :)

video and pics use up lots of battery power on any ipod.

Well, the screen itself isn't very battery conservative, so when you light up a shitload of pixels, it tends to need more bettery power lol.
Either way, if you want videos and whatnot... get the Ipod Video... it's expensive, but I hear it's well worth it... saw my friends, played a couple hours of porn on it so it should meet your needs XD
